With intelligent analytics and optional built-in camera verification, it detects the size, speed, and position of moving or loitering objects in real time, tracking them with pinpoint X and Y accuracy even in darkness or harsh conditions.

Adaptable Detection for Complex Spaces

The REDSCAN mini-Pro provides up to 100 ft, 95 degree detection, delivering reliable protection of rooftops, facades, corridors, and restricted areas with a single unit. Its detection field can be divided into up to 8 independent zones, each with customizable target size, sensitivity, and output settings. This allows the sensor to adapt seamlessly to different risk levels and environments—for example, one zone can be configured to detect people, while another monitors vehicles, or one set as a pre-alarm and another as an immediate alert. The REDSCAN mini-Pro’s precision and flexibility offer coverage and functionality that would normally require multiple sensors.

The REDSCAN mini-Pro RLS-2020V also features a built-in IR full HD camera that records alarm events directly on the device, storing logs along with pre- and post-event images or video. This added layer of verification helps security teams clearly see what triggered an alert and refine detection settings with confidence.

With advanced onboard analytics, the REDSCAN mini-Pro measures the size, speed, and position of moving or loitering objects, tracking them to precise X and Y coordinates. Its LiDAR technology ensures stable performance day or night, unaffected by lighting changes or extreme temperatures. The mini-Pro delivers a high-resolution 0.125-degree detection capability, enabling accurate monitoring even in challenging conditions.

The REDSCAN mini-Pro is designed to maintain reliable detection even in challenging weather, with features that minimize false alarms caused by fog, rain, or snow. Its Auto Area Adjustment function automatically adapts to ground changes such as shifting terrain, snow buildup, or fallen leaves, ensuring consistent performance. Operating in temperatures from -40°F to 140°F, the mini-Pro is engineered for dependable security in virtually any environment.

Seamless Integration and Secure Connectivity

The REDSCAN mini-Pro is fully ONVIF Profile S compliant, enabling seamless alarm transmission to any compatible Video Management System (VMS) or IP network device. The RLS-2020V model also provides an IR full HD video stream to VMS platforms via ONVIF RTSP for enhanced verification. To ensure secure communication, the mini-Pro supports leading network protocols including HTTPS, SNMPv3, and IEEE802.1X, offering dependable interoperability for modern security ecosystems.

Simplified Setup and Adjustment

The REDSCAN mini-Pro is designed with installers in mind, offering versatile mounting options for horizontal, vertical, or angled configurations. Its Multi-Angle Adjustment Shell (M.A.S.S.) makes it easy to fine-tune the detection area without additional brackets. The RLS-2020V model adds convenience with a built-in IR full HD camera, which provides real-time visualization of the detection area and a laser guideline for precise alignment during setup and walk tests.

Configuration is handled through an intuitive web browser interface, allowing settings to be adjusted remotely and duplicated across units of the same model for faster deployments. Photos and map images can also be overlaid on the detection area for improved situational awareness, ensuring installation and maintenance remain simple and efficient.
